Chris Donabie
Partner - Investment
Chris was born in the South of Scotland but settled in Newcastle upon Tyne after completing an estate management degree in the city. Chris started his career with DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) in Newcastle where he was the head of the Industrial & Agency team before joining Naylors in 2016.
Chris specialises in investment sales and acquisitions as well as development funding and joint ventures. He has a range of clients from institutions, property companies, high net worth families and individuals, developers and local authorities.
Chris has a further role co-ordinating the strategic business development activities of the business.
Chris holds a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management, has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2007 and is a member of their North East Regional Board. Chris is currently undertaking the IPF Diploma in Property Investments at Henley Business School, to further his skills within the investment arena.
Chris is also a qualified member of SIOR - The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. This membership gives Chris access to a worldwide network of over 3,000 brokers as well as overseas investors seeking UK based opportunities. Throughout his time with DTZ he acted on high profile schemes including Follingsby Park and Drum Industrial Estate.
Outside of work Chris is a mini rugby coach at Novoacastrians RFC in Newcastle, enjoys running and cycling, fad diets and spending time with his young family.
