Building Consultancy goes Digital
November 2017
Utilising the latest digital technology, our Building Consultancy team are now able to offer clients detailed measured surveys using 3D laser scanners as well as topographical surveys. We are also able to provide 3D modelling services, visualisations and BIM models depending on a client’s requirements.
Since introducing these services, the team has taken on a number of new instructions, including Rudchester Farm, near Heddon on the Wall, 64-68 Clayton Street and Mea House in Newcastle.
Acting on behalf of Mea Trust, the team has carried out a 3D digital survey of the vacant second floor offices and proposals are now in place to split the space into a number of small self-contained suites. In addition to the design services, Naylors Building Consultancy department has provided all design options in 3D to allow full visualisations to be produced, to better illustrate the proposed scheme to prospective tenants.
David Straughan, associate director said: “Following the expansion of the team we are delighted to have increased our skill set to be able to offer digital services. We are working with a range of new and existing clients on both commercial and residential projects and hope to continue to grow this new service line.”
