Naylors complete office letting of over 20,000 sq.ft in Sunderland
October 2016
Naylors have completed a significant letting of 20,557 sqft at Doxford International Business Park to customer contact and marketing specialist, Parseq, in a move which will see the firm create 450 new jobs.
Acting on behalf of Calsonic Kansei, Naylors began marketing the offices at Camberwell House in September 2015. The three-storey building sits alongside a 100,000 sq.ft warehouse used by Calsonic Kansei for storage and distribution.
Calsonic Kansei, which has sites in Washington and Sunderland supplies heat exchangers, air conditioners, exhaust systems, dashboards and electronic components to the automotive industry.
Simon Taylor, director at Naylors said: ‘The offices at Camberwell House were surplus to requirements for Calsonic Kansei so we were appointed by them to find a suitable subtenant. As a result of new contract wins Parseq were actively looking for new offices at Doxford close to their existing base so Camberwell House was an excellent solution’.
Parseq already employ around 1,000 staff in Sunderland and the accommodation acquired at Camberwell House could accommodate a further 700.
Graham Stein, contact centre managing director at Parseq said: “Sunderland has always had a good reputation for contact centre business, but we plan to take it to a completely new level with the development of our new site.
“Our vast experience in the sector and those of our clients mean that we’ve got insight few others can claim. We’re looking forward to opening our second site in the city and creating hundreds of new roles.”
Parseq employs more than 2,500 nationally and represents some of the UK’s most respected blue-chip companies including the top ten international banks, a third of the country’s utility sector, financial and insurance services.
