Naylors strengthens senior team
July 2015
Naylors has made a new senior appointment and two promotions to strengthen its team of directors.
The firm has appointed new director, Phil Steadman, who joins them from DTZ to head up the valuation and lease advisory department.
Phil worked in a similar role at DTZ’s Newcastle office for over 15 years and brings with him a vast level of experience and a significant track record.
Naylors has also promoted Simon Taylor, head of office agency to director and Dean Clark in building consultancy to associate director. Simon and Dean both previously worked for Jones Lang LaSalle until the closure of the Newcastle office in 2013.
The appointments further enhance Naylors breadth of service to bolster the well-established industrial agency, investment and management departments. The firm says it is already benefitting from the experience and contacts Phil, Simon and Dean have brought from multinational firms where they acted on behalf of a range of regional and London-based clients.
Angus White, managing director of Naylors said: “Phil’s experience in valuations and lease advisory will undoubtedly strengthen our offering and we are delighted to have him as part of the team to build up this department.”
“Phil’s appointment and Simon and Dean’s promotions form part of our wider business strategy to expand and develop our service lines and strengthen our senior team to enable us to take on larger-scale instructions across all sectors and extend our geographical reach. The senior additions complement the existing team of directors who have been integral in successfully growing the business to where it is today, in its 25th year.”
Phil Steadman said: “Moving to an independent practice has given me the opportunity to manage my own department and I am looking forward to developing and growing the valuations and lease advisory side of the business. It is an exciting time to join the expanding Naylors team and be part of their ambitious growth plans.”
